THAT CONVERSATION

Today as I sat in the lab I had a conversation with a young man because I over heard him say, “He wants to become a Christian”. I responded and told him that I am proud of him. He seemed so surprised that he came to sit next to me and asked me why I am proud of him because no one has ever been proud of him. The conversation shifted from him becoming a Christian to, explaining who God is. He basically believes that we know God exists because of our emotions; it has nothing to do with faith. I told him by faith we believe in God. I could not explain God to him, but I told him that he would have to experience him; all he should do is allow God to intervene in his life. What I learnt from this young man is that we know that truth about Christ yet we are willing to negotiate and compromise our way through. We want to deny what wont suit us and turn it into something worth being logical, Gods word is true.

RELATIONSHIPS ARE BEAUTIFULL

Relationships are meant to be exciting but the label life is giving it is not good. Many would say soul mates do not exist because you are just basically mates, soul mates do exist. My mom would tell me that distance causes arguments in a relationship I agree it does.  I can witness to the fact that having the man I love 2000km away from me for months and years to come, has built a strong foundation of trust and faith in the relationship.  We do have our arguments because perfect couples don’t exist, because no one is perfect. We never end the conversation until we have all met at a common ground and we are happy as to how the conversation was concluded, this helps you to be honest to your partner and always rely on him/ her. When you find your soul mate ladies, may that young man seek God to find you. Young men don’t be too quick to correct her but lead her by grace in Christ. God has given us relationships and it’s a beautiful thing.

A new season has started. It feels great to be back on the blog after a long vacation. I feel as though I need to write about something that happened in the past, but to come to think about it, the past is over in Christ and we need to look forward to where we need to be going in life. Its a new month and a new season, which i am extremely excited about because i have made a few decisions in life that have made me a different person, someone better. I have lost what I had to loss and I trust God that I will earn what I need to earn. Grabbing this new season with both hands and making memories from it.
