Yes ill be selfish

Yes I’ll be selfish if I have to. We have this mentality that we own ourselves, no we don’t. God does, we are created by him and we live each day to glorify his name. To the ladies, treasure yourself, in and out. Always know that your body is the temple of God, would you want God to live in a dirty place, oh please clean up. Men will be like give me your body because I love you, or give your body because you love me and if you don’t you are being a rude selfish girl. So sorry brother you can call me any name you want but be aware that I am selfish. What you want is purchased at a price you can’t afford. So you need to have a chat with my owner before you get hands on his property. Ladies love yourselves, and be wise if someone tries to rent you.

THAT CONVERSATION

Today as I sat in the lab I had a conversation with a young man because I over heard him say, “He wants to become a Christian”. I responded and told him that I am proud of him. He seemed so surprised that he came to sit next to me and asked me why I am proud of him because no one has ever been proud of him. The conversation shifted from him becoming a Christian to, explaining who God is. He basically believes that we know God exists because of our emotions; it has nothing to do with faith. I told him by faith we believe in God. I could not explain God to him, but I told him that he would have to experience him; all he should do is allow God to intervene in his life. What I learnt from this young man is that we know that truth about Christ yet we are willing to negotiate and compromise our way through. We want to deny what wont suit us and turn it into something worth being logical, Gods word is true.

RELATIONSHIPS ARE BEAUTIFULL

Relationships are meant to be exciting but the label life is giving it is not good. Many would say soul mates do not exist because you are just basically mates, soul mates do exist. My mom would tell me that distance causes arguments in a relationship I agree it does.  I can witness to the fact that having the man I love 2000km away from me for months and years to come, has built a strong foundation of trust and faith in the relationship.  We do have our arguments because perfect couples don’t exist, because no one is perfect. We never end the conversation until we have all met at a common ground and we are happy as to how the conversation was concluded, this helps you to be honest to your partner and always rely on him/ her. When you find your soul mate ladies, may that young man seek God to find you. Young men don’t be too quick to correct her but lead her by grace in Christ. God has given us relationships and it’s a beautiful thing.

A new season has started. It feels great to be back on the blog after a long vacation. I feel as though I need to write about something that happened in the past, but to come to think about it, the past is over in Christ and we need to look forward to where we need to be going in life. Its a new month and a new season, which i am extremely excited about because i have made a few decisions in life that have made me a different person, someone better. I have lost what I had to loss and I trust God that I will earn what I need to earn. Grabbing this new season with both hands and making memories from it.

MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST

Broken down by this world, being nailed to our pain and hurt. treated like a stranger to peace, love and joy. Made a victim to pain and tears. Will we ever rise? how, when and where. This world prevents you from knowing the truth that Christ redemed us, we arent victims of sin anymore, we are set free and we are living by his grace. we where once dead and we are made alive in his love, by him dying on the cross. Pain, hurt, tears arent of you no more. you awaken in his love, joy and
peace.

THE VISITOR

I have accepted the fact that people will come in your life and mess up or build up. there are several choices I made considering feeling comfortable with the right ones. but there will always come the one that makes you feel so happy, this happiness lasts meanwhile they are filling you with a love that could only lead to hurt. I have a visitor that has come in life and has messed me up and I told God this is where it ends for me, cause I never seem to recover. nevertheless who knew that through my hurt, my visitor was being changed as well. It hurts to know am their last victim, but its amazing to know that this is where it ends in their life. we always want to be perfect to help the imperfect, but our imperfection inspires others to strive for perfection. Welcome your visitors but let your life be a change to them. It was an experience, but am suppose to be temporary in their life, cause right now they are permanent with Christ.

A MOTHERS WAGES

She builds me with words from her mouth. She plants the seed of joy in me and waters it each day. She guides me and leads me to be a woman some day. She touches me with her prayers, knowing God is with me.
This is a mothers wages, putting her faith in God. Just like Moses mother placed his life in Gods hands.
This is a mothers wages, always taking the risk. She does it cause she loves me she has a willing heart.
This is a mothers wages her love conquers fear, she is on my battlefield,
This is a mothers wages, her being real. Producing life in me.

Happy mothers Day Mum.

WHY HER

A different way of saying jealousy. We look at someone and find it  hard to see anything positive about them, it’s super easy to find fault. We over exaggerate their mistakes and damage their positive foundations in life. Jealously is something that’s self-felt, you alone felt it and you alone damage yourself. Seeing them happy is like a knife being driven straight through your chest. Worst is when they are happy with the people you love the most. Nights you stay up thinking of how to bring this person down to your level of depression; meanwhile they can’t do anything but be happy. Girl, snap out of it and stop faking your love for them.  Jesus’s love isn’t self seeking and that’s the love we should be reaching to have. Learn to be happy for others, it’s a beautiful view with a heart filled with love.

A CHASING AFTER THE WIND

Life has its ups and downs, things that are worth the fight and others that aren’t even worth your breathe. When we are under certain emotions such as anger, anxiety and depression we intend to remove our focus on what requires our undivided attention. People come and go in life; we are all familiar with that, with some we build strong relationships, with others it’s just something that can be swept away. We build love, trust and honesty. We are all human after all, we aren’t perfect so we break all that was built, we hold grudges to those that made us feel the worst emotions. That… is a chasing after the wind. What happens next? What exactly are you feeling? What did you gain? Did it affect the other person? It doesn’t take you anywhere. That’s why you should know what things are worth the fight and what isn’t worth your breathe.

SAYING YES TO 31.. YES 31

Saying yes to that woman whose husband has full confidence in her, she lacks nothing of value. That woman who brings good and no harm in her life and in the lives of others, all the days of her life. Who opens are arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.  Her man I respected where ever he goes and she is clothed wit strength and dignity. She laughs her days to come, many women are do noble things but they don’t surpass her. Her man praises her. Saying yes to a woman who is God fearing, a woman who prays for her loved ones and sets herself aside for the right man. a woman who knows she is worth more than her past, she isn’t a second chancer but she is a first choice. God’s glory shines through her smile and God uses her as a living testimony.  She never settles for less, she doesn’t compromise. She isn’t a chancer she is planned and earned. She finds her joy in the Lord. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

WHY DO I WRITE

I am bored at times, that’s why I write, there are days when I just feel like I am floating in the midst of no were. Many would say they write because they have audience, others say they write because it makes them feel good. In my case I write because I want to be reminded of how to see again. Writing comes with many emotions, whether it is sad, happy, angry or anxious. The more you write the more you see life differently. It would be hard to sit and take your mind back to a feeling you felt years ago, but to read your feelings is the best thing ever. Makes me see more to life; people can change, emotions come and go. Life is a beautiful view, if you step back and look. That’s why I write about my past, so that I could only read about it and not to be a part of it.

THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK

She never believed in “dear diary”, she never believed in dates and stories on a single page. She would always live her days as they come. She always made mental memories, which could be forgotten and washed away, by new memories. This talented young lady never spoke much, but all she could do was write. So she is handed a little black book, with dates in and lines for each page. Each day she expressed her feelings before she would shut her eyes. Writing from the beginning of the year to the end was totally boring at that stage because, being honest to herself always made her cry. The young lady decided to write her daily feelings in a third person, in that way she wouldn’t feel like its directed to her, but that she understood someone else problems. A year goes by and this book is complete, all pages full of ink and feelings, hoped to be forgotten. A new year comes and she reads her little black book, she could only smile, because each page made her feel victorious. She has fought through, broke her heavy chains and counted her blessings. She would always treasure her little black book.
